SIMPLE CHOCOLATE SAUCE/70%
- 6 ounces Scharffen Berger 70% Cacao Bittersweet Chocolate, broken into pieces
- 1/4 cup lowfat milk or water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
Melt the broken chocolate and milk or water in a small heavy saucepan over low heat. Stir constantly.
As the chocolate begins to melt, add sugar. Continue to stir slowly until all ingredients are incorporated. Additional liquid can be added as needed.
Pour over ice cream, pound cake, or fruit. Sauce can be stored covered in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks and reheated as needed.
